WASCO appointed a qualified airport manager based primarily in Winnipeg who travels on-site as required to support the operation. The airport's ownership, operation, and staffing, with the exception of the airport manager, remains under the Town of Moosonee.
This hybrid solution provides experienced airport management services through a long-term services contract that supplements local resources while maintaining local control of the airport through the Town and Council.
